Location: Nottingham – Sherwood

Salary: Up to £27,500 per annum

Contract: Permanent Full-time 40 hrs a week Mon-Friday.

About you: This is the perfect first step into nursery leadership. As a Nursery Room Leader, you’ll support and guide your team, work closely with the Deputy and Nursery Manager, and help ensure the room runs smoothly each day. You’ll play an important part in maintaining high standards of care, education and safeguarding, while helping to create a positive environment where both children and staff can thrive. Your Role: As Nursery Room lead, you will:

  • Liaise with and support parents, carers and other family members.
  • Support all staff and promote a good staff team.
  • Lead a small team in your room to provide an exceptional level of childcare, supported by the nursery management team.
  • Maintain good practice in your room, ensuring that the EYFS is adhered to.
  • Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interests.

What We’re Looking For: We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS and be capable of maintaining children’s development records.
  • Have 3 years+ childcare experience (Required).
  • Management experience (Preferred but not essential).
