We are looking for a warm, reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Lunchtime Cover Practitioner to join our team at St. George’s Nursery Sherwood.
This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children and wants to be part of a supportive, welcoming nursery environment during our busy lunchtime period.
Your Role
As a Nursery Lunchtime Cover Practitioner, you will:

Support children throughout the lunchtime period.

Help with meals, routines, and transitions.

Create a calm, safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Support children’s personal care needs while promoting independence.

Work closely with the wider nursery team to ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and safety.

Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
What We’re Looking For

Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification

Have knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding

Are passionate about helping children thrive

Are caring, positive, and enthusiastic

Have nursery or childcare experience
