Location: Sherwood, Nottingham

Contract: Permanent, Full-time – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum

About The Role: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Room Leader, Third-in-Charge, Senior Practitioner or Deputy Manager looking to take the next step in their leadership career. Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you’ll help lead the team, maintain high standards and support the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery, with opportunities to develop towards a Nursery Manager role in the future.

As Deputy Manager, you will:

  • Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Lead, motivate and develop the team
  • Maintain high standards of care, learning and safeguarding
  • Ensure EYFS, Ofsted and nursery requirements are met
  • Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager’s absence

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Leadership experience within an Early Years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, supportive leadership style
  • Passion for Early Years and a desire to progress your career
