The Role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Cook to join our team. This is a key role where you’ll ensure children are provided with balanced meals and snacks that meet dietary needs. You will:

  • Plan, prepare, and cook daily meals and snacks for children across the nursery.
  • Cater for all dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural preferences.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained at all times.
  • Keep accurate kitchen records, stock checks, and temperature logs.
  • Work closely with the Nursery Manager to create seasonal menus that are healthy, appealing, and fun for children.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Food Hygiene certificate (Level 2 or higher).
  • Previous experience in catering, ideally in a childcare, school, or care setting.
  • Knowledge of allergens and safe food storage.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work independently.
