We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and people-focused People & Recruitment Coordinator to support recruitment and people processes across our nurseries and head office teams.

This is a varied and rewarding role, responsible for supporting the full recruitment journey, from advertising vacancies and sourcing candidates through to onboarding new starters.

You will also provide day-to-day people support and play an important role in promoting St.

George’s Nursery as an employer of choice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment across our nurseries by working closely with Nursery Managers and Area Managers on vacancies and hiring needs.
  • Partner with senior leaders on Head Office recruitment requirements.
  • Manage and maintain vacancy advertising, candidate pipelines, and recruitment activity through Indeed and the ATS.
  • Screen candidates, arrange interviews, and ensure an excellent candidate experience.
  • Coordinate onboarding and new starter administration, including DBS checks, Right to Work checks, and employment paperwork.
  • Provide day-to-day people support, including absence administration and employee queries.
  • Support employer branding initiatives through social media platforms.
  • Attend nursery visits and recruitment events to promote career opportunities with St. George’s Nursery.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and employee records, ensuring compliance and confidentiality at all times.

About You

You will be highly organised, proactive, and enjoy building relationships with people at all levels.

Previous experience in recruitment, HR administration, or a people-focused role would be advantageous.

You’ll be confident using recruitment systems and social media and have excellent communication and administrative skills.
