Essential skills and qualifications
- Nursery management experience (3+ years)
- A strong record of ongoing training and/or professional qualifications
- Able to lead by example, providing the highest quality childcare whilst providing support and leadership to the staff team
- Minimum full and relevant LEVEL 3 in Early Years and Education
- A customer service approach, being willing to go above and beyond for families
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of the Nursery
- Building strong and positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Maintaining the highest standards of quality within the nursery
- Complete CPD to continuously up-skill and provide the best practice in your setting, & cascade this learning to your team
- Actively promote your setting to new and potential families
- Make sure the setting’s policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children develop and thrive
- Working in partnership with other professionals to ensure all individual needs are met and all children can reach their full potential
