Your Role
As Business Administrator, you will
- – Provide day-to-day administrative support to our Head Office, Nursery Managers, and senior leadership team.
- – Support business operations across our nursery group, ensuring everything runs efficiently.
- – Coordinate projects, including supporting the onboarding and integration of new nursery settings.
- – Manage supplier accounts, service contracts, and help secure the best value across the business.
- – Coordinate property maintenance, compliance, refurbishments, and facilities management across multiple nursery sites.
- – Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and the maintenance team to keep projects on track.
- – Maintain property compliance records, servicing schedules, and certification to ensure all settings remain audit-ready.
- – Support the finance function with purchase ledger, invoices, supplier accounts, payments, and financial administration.
- – Assist with monthly reporting and finance processes alongside the Head of Finance.
- – Develop and maintain systems, trackers, and reports that help the business operate efficiently.
- What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have
- – Previous experience in business administration, office management, operations, or a similar role.
- – Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- – The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- – Experience working with suppliers, contractors, and coordinating projects.
- – Strong commercial awareness and confidence managing contracts and service providers.
- – Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- – Experience with finance systems, bookkeeping, payroll, or Xero would be an advantage.
- – A professional, trustworthy, and confidential approach.
- – The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team.
- – A full UK driving licence is desirable for occasional travel between nursery sites.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, which will be arranged by St. George’s Nursery Group.
