About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to

  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Lead and inspire a team of Early Years professionals
  • Ensure outstanding care, learning and development opportunities for every child
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and compliance
  • Support staff development through coaching and mentoring
  • Build strong partnerships with families and the local community
  • Help drive quality improvements as we continue our exciting transition under new management

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
  • Previous experience in a senior room leader, third in charge, deputy manager or management position
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and relevant childcare legislation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
  • Drive, enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards change and improvement
