We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Nurse with respiratory experience to join our multidisciplinary respiratory team at St George’s NHS trust.

We are seeking an experienced respiratory nurse to provide autonomous, holistic care to patients within our Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) service.

As part of the ILD multidisciplinary team, the post holder will:

  1. Provide professional and operational leadership to the ILD Team and support service development.
  2. Ensure high-quality care and oversee the safe, efficient, and effective performance of respiratory team members, including staff management.

The post holder should be a skilled and competent nurse with experience caring for patients with interstitial lung disease. They should be able to work autonomously and collaboratively, utilizing their clinical expertise, leadership, education, and management skills to ensure a seamless service for patients, carers, and staff across inpatient and outpatient settings.

St George’s, Epsom, and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group serve a population of four million people in South West London and North East Surrey. Our sites include:

  • St George’s Hospital, a major trauma centre and the largest healthcare provider in the area;
  • St Helier Hospital, home to the South West Thames Renal and Transplantation Unit;
  • Queen Mary\’s Hospital for Children;
  • Epsom Hospital, home to the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC).

In 2021, our two Trusts formed a hospitals group to enhance collaboration on research, education, and workforce development, supporting our 17,000 staff.
