The Department of Audiology and Audiological Medicine at St George's Hospital provides a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation service for patients with hearing, balance and tinnitus difficulties. Responsibilities
- Deliver adult audiology clinics across St George's Hospital and satellite sites
- Undertake hearing assessments and provide hearing aid rehabilitation for adults
- Support patients with complex needs with guidance from senior staff
- Assist in the delivery of patient support initiatives (e.g. group sessions, hearing aid advice clinics)
- Contribute to maintaining high clinical standards in line with BSA and BAA protocols
- Participate in clinical audit, service evaluation and quality improvement activities
- Support ongoing development of the audiology service
- Demonstrate reflective practice
