We are looking for a skilled CDP to join our busy kitchen team. We offer a range of shifts to cover both the sauce and larder sections in the kitchen. We have 2 restaurants, one Brasserie style and the other for casual dining as well as an outdoor barbecue kitchen and a busy events schedule. This job is varied with changing menus and new developments coming frequently.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- Good knowledge of cookery and cooking techniques
- Experience in a busy and dynamic kitchen environment
- Exceptional work ethic
- Works in a clean and hygienic manner and is trained to Level 2 Food hygiene
- Well organised in their work
- Good understanding of HACCP and is used to following clean working procedures
- Can speak and read English at a high level
- Shows exceptional teamwork and an aptitude for communication
- Happy to work a range of different shifts and sections (i.e early and late shifts)
- Can follow menu specifications and take direction from the senior chefs
