We are looking for a therapeutic support worker for our Growing Rooms Men programme, where a successful candidate would be involved in the running of sessions and directly helping clients recognise their addiction.

Recognise the holistic needs of all service users both practical and spiritual and either respond directly or refer as appropriate.

Attend training courses and conferences in order to maintain personal development as agreed with Line Manager.
Due to the nature of the role and the workplace, the post holder must be over 18 years of age.
Job Purpose:
To provide support, assistance and guidance in the 12 step recovery model for clients in the Growing Rooms Programme.
Key Job Role Responsibilities and Main Tasks:
To support the Therapeutic Lead in running the therapeutic sessions, helping clients recognise their addiction.
Share knowledge within the group of 12 step recovery.
Ensure all client information is recorded and stored confidentially.
Complete all necessary paperwork daily.
Compile stats and KPI’s as required.
Check house standards on a regular basis.
Assist with interviewing potential clients and agencies.
Promote Growing Rooms programme within the recovery community.
Provide assistance and guidance to clients on the 12 step programme.
Plan and prepare lunch for clients.
Clean and prepare accommodation for new clients.
Respond to emails and enquiries about Growing Rooms.
Represent Growing Rooms at recovery events.
Assist in keeping the group rooms and facilities clean and tidy.
Provide support to clients at external activities and events.
The tasks and responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive and may be amended according to the needs of the Charity. Employees are expected to work flexibly in responding to external and internal initiatives to support the needs of the Charity.
