We are looking for a therapeutic support worker for our Growing Rooms Men programme, where a successful candidate would be involved in the running of sessions and directly helping clients recognise their addiction.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Enforcing the company’s safeguarding policy.
- Being alert to and recognising welfare issues, being sure to challenge poor practice.
- Sharing appropriate information with relevant people.
- Continually working with the families of residents and service users, sharing information and contributing to plans if a concern is investigated.
- Ensuring that all staff having contact with children, vulnerable adults and/or their families have received appropriate training on safeguarding issues.

Job Purpose: To provide support, assistance and guidance in the 12 step recovery model for clients in the Growing Rooms Programme.
Key Job Role Responsibilities and Main Tasks:
- To support the Therapeutic Lead in running the therapeutic sessions, helping clients recognise their addiction.
- Share knowledge within the group of 12 step recovery.
- Ensure all client information is recorded and stored confidentially.
- Complete all necessary paperwork daily.
- Compile stats and KPI’s as required.
- Check house standards on a regular basis.
- Assist with interviewing potential clients and agencies.
- Promote Growing Rooms programme within the recovery community.
- Provide assistance and guidance to clients on the 12 step programme.
- Plan and prepare lunch for clients.
- Clean and prepare accommodation for new clients.
- Respond to emails and enquiries about Growing Rooms.
- Represent Growing Rooms at recovery events.
- Assist in keeping the group rooms and facilities clean and tidy.
- Provide support to clients at external activities and events.
