St George’s Church of England Primary School invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to support early years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils. The successful candidate will deliver in‑class support, run small group and individual interventions, and manage the smooth running of lunchtimes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in‑class assistance across Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Deliver small group and individual intervention sessions to support learning outcomes.
- Assist with lunchtime supervision and oversee the resources and facilities available to pupils.
- Participate in school activities and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar support role is preferred.
- Positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to engage and motivate children.
- Willingness to undertake training and complete a comprehensive induction programme.
Salary and Hours
- £20,328 to £21,907 depending on experience.
- 32.5 hours per week – 8.30 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
