This is an exciting development opportunity for an experienced nurse wishing to progress towards a Senior Nurse Practitioner role within a fabulous team. The successful candidate will be appointed at Band 6 and supported through a structured development pathway. On successful achievement of the required competencies, and subject to organisational need and funding availability, candidates may be considered for appointment to a Band 7 Senior Nurse Practitioner role.

You'll join our Advanced Nurse Practitioner team, a close-knit team of four who work flexibly and support one another whilst being part of a wider multidisciplinary team. The role offers a diverse mix of clinical practice, direct patient care, teaching, learning and quality improvement activity, providing an excellent opportunity to develop advanced clinical and leadership skills within specialist palliative and end of life care., As part of our Advanced Nurse Practitioner team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality end of life care within our In-Patient Unit. Combining autonomous clinical practice with teaching, service development and quality improvement activities, this role offers an exciting opportunity to develop advanced practice skills within a supportive multidisciplinary environment and follow a structured pathway towards Senior Nurse Practitioner level.
