Join Our Thriving Retail Hub Volunteer Team! Looking for a dynamic, fast-paced volunteer role? Come and be part of our buzzing Retail Hub in Bramley - home to our Warehouse, Ecommerce team and Bramley Shop (conveniently located near bus routes 14 and 91). Days and hours are flexible with morning, afternoon or day shifts available Monday to Friday.
What You’ll Get Involved With:
- Welcoming donors and accepting donations with a smile.
- Signing donors up for Gift Aid to boost their impact.
- Sorting clothing, books, bric-a-brac and accessories.
- Supporting our corporate donations section.
- Helping identify hidden gems for our Ecommerce Team.
- Hanging, sizing and prepping clothes for sale.
- Recycling items the right way to support sustainability.

St Gemma’s Hospice is an independent Leeds-based charity and one of the leading hospices in the UK, providing expert care and support for local people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses. We offer care to patients, families and carers in the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma’s community team, and at our Out-Patients. We have around 300 employees working across the main Hospice site in Moortown, Retail Hub in Bramley, a large chain of charity shops, and out in the community. We offer career opportunities both in our multi-disciplinary clinical team and in a wide range of non-clinical roles, all of which contribute towards local patient care. St Gemma’s Hospice has a team of approximately 800 volunteers, working in a variety of roles supporting departments throughout the organisation.
