About the Role

Work in line with the NMC Code of Conduct and provide evidence‑based, high quality nursing care for a team of palliative and end‑of‑life patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care for a palliative care team, ensuring personalised, compassionate support.
  • Supervise, teach and develop staff and students within the team.
  • Facilitate advanced care plan conversations with patients and families.
  • Participate actively in reflective practice and clinical supervision.
  • Work effectively in a busy and emotive environment as part of a strong, vibrant multi‑disciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with experience providing end‑of‑life care.
  • Certificate in Palliative Care, BSc in Cancer Care or related modules is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Being a Practice Assessor is beneficial, but not essential.
