About the Role
Work in line with the NMC Code of Conduct and provide evidence‑based, high quality nursing care for a team of palliative and end‑of‑life patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for a palliative care team, ensuring personalised, compassionate support.
- Supervise, teach and develop staff and students within the team.
- Facilitate advanced care plan conversations with patients and families.
- Participate actively in reflective practice and clinical supervision.
- Work effectively in a busy and emotive environment as part of a strong, vibrant multi‑disciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with experience providing end‑of‑life care.
- Certificate in Palliative Care, BSc in Cancer Care or related modules is beneficial, but not essential.
- Being a Practice Assessor is beneficial, but not essential.
