We are looking for our next Individual Giving Fundraiser to join a successful and ambitious fundraising team. This is an exciting role providing experience in all aspects of Individual Giving, with a particular focus on the stewardship and development of In Memory and Regular Giving, as well as supporting our lottery, raffles, gifts in Wills programme, and much-loved appeals.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate and able to offer exceptional, sensitive supporter stewardship. If you would like to make a difference to the lives of local people with life-threatening illnesses, and their families, this could be the role for you.

  • You are compassionate and a great communicator who can build and manage relationships with supporters and potential supporters.
  • You enjoy working across a range of projects and have a flexible, proactive outlook, with an ability to plan projects and workload effectively.
  • You pay attention to detail and are driven to get the best out of every project with adaptable and innovative thinking.
  • You work well and thrive in a busy team environment in which the whole Income Generation team support each other to achieve targets.

About us

St Gemma’s Hospice is an independent Leeds-based charity and one of the leading hospices in the UK, providing expert care and support for local people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses. We offer care to patients, families and carers in the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma’s community team, and at our Out-Patients. We have around 300 employees working across the main Hospice site in Moortown, Retail Hub in Bramley, a large chain of charity shops, and out in the community. We offer career opportunities both in our multi-disciplinary clinical team and in a wide range of non-clinical roles, all of which contribute towards local patient care. St Gemma’s Hospice has a team of approximately 800 volunteers, working in a variety of roles supporting departments throughout the organisation.
