St Gemmas Hospice is seeking a Community Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) who is passionate about delivering holistic care and supporting patients in the community. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and help us support current service developments.

Qualifications & experience
  • Significant experience at Band 5 working in specialist palliative care or caring for palliative care patients in a community or hospital setting
  • Experience and knowledge of symptom management
  • Ability to communicate effectively in complex clinical situations and with colleagues
  • Desire to be part of a flexible and ambitious multi‑disciplinary team
  • A driving licence and access to a car for work related purposes

We play a key role in influencing the future of palliative care in Leeds through the citywide Leeds Palliative Care Network. We are a leader in palliative care research, education and evidence into practice and are the first University Teaching Hospice. We provide both in‑patient and community specialist palliative and end‑of‑life care.

Job Details

Full‑time position. Working hours: 30–37.5 hours over 4 days may be considered.
