St Gemma's Hospice is one of the leading charitable hospices in the UK. The Hospice provides expert palliative and end of life care, in a quality environment, for thousands of local people each year. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic Facilities team, to work flexibly as a member providing Housekeeping, Hospitality and Bistro support.
You should enjoy working as part of a team and have a positive attitude with excellent communication skills. You should be flexible and able to adapt to various challenges.
You will:
- Be required to have experience in any one of these disciplines. Full training will be given.
- Have a knowledge of COSHH and infection control.
- Have good organisational skills.
- Be able to prioritise work and use your own initiative.
- Have a good understanding of hygiene and food safety (training will be provided).
- Be comfortable working in a healthcare setting, supporting vulnerable individuals with dignity and sensitivity.
