This is a Permanent , Full Time vacancy that will close in 21 days at 23:59 BST .

The vacancy

St Gemma’s has a fundraising target of over £4million per year. A self-motivated individual is required to work as part of our busy, dynamic and successful team.

Previous experience in fundraising is not essential but the role does require an organised and committed person who is able to build relationships and work on a number of different projects simultaneously.

This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work towards a budget and build relationships with new and existing supporters. The post holder will need to meet tight deadlines and although not essential, it would be helpful to have previous experience working with volunteers.

Ability to drive and use of a car is essential as well as being able to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends).

About us

St Gemma’s Hospice is an independent Leeds-based charity and one of the leading hospices in the UK, providing expert care and support for local people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses. We offer care to patients, families and carers in the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma’s community team, and at our Out-Patients.

We have around 300 employees working across the main Hospice site in Moortown, Retail Hub in Bramley, a large chain of charity shops, and out in the community. We offer career opportunities both in our multi-disciplinary clinical team and in a wide range of non-clinical roles, all of which contribute towards local patient care. St Gemma’s Hospice has a team of approximately 800 volunteers, working in a variety of roles supporting departments throughout the organisation.
