Morning Cleaner £12.84 per hour Part time/ term time Permanent contract Join the team at St Gabriels and play an important part in creating a welcoming, safe and well-presented environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Morning Cleaner to join our friendly Cleaning Team.
Working across our school site, you will help ensure classrooms, offices, communal spaces and facilities are clean, hygienic and ready for the school day. You will also work within our impressive Sports and Performing Arts Centre, helping to look after spaces including the sports hall, gym, theatre and changing rooms. This is a permanent role working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 5.30am to 8.30am, for 44 weeks of the year.
We can offer some flexibility around the start time and, for the right candidate, there may also be the opportunity to extend the role to full-time hours.
About you
You will take pride in maintaining high standards and be dependable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team. A friendly, proactive and professional approach is important, along with the ability to manage your time effectively and work safely. Previous experience of professional cleaning and using cleaning machinery would be helpful, although it is not essential. An understanding of basic health and safety procedures, including manual handling and COSHH, would also be beneficial.
