After School Club Supervisor – Level 2 QualifiedHours: 15.45-18.30 on Monday and Friday, during term time onlyContract Type : PermanentSalary: CompetitiveHelp make the end of the school day a happy oneWe are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and nurturing After School Club Supervisor to join our Junior School team, supporting children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.This is a rewarding opportunity for a Level 2 qualified childcare professional who enjoys working with younger children and creating an environment where they feel safe, happy and supported. You will help lead the smooth day-to-day running of the club, combining excellent care with strong organisation and positive, engaging interactions with pupils.
About the roleYou will help create a warm, stimulating and secure environment for our youngest pupils at the end of their school day. Alongside supervising and engaging with children, you will maintain accurate registers and records, promote positive behaviour and wellbeing, and communicate effectively with colleagues and pupils.
You will play an important part in helping children develop their confidence and independence while ensuring consistently high standards of care, safety and organisation.
About youYou will hold a Level 2 qualification in childcare or equivalent and be warm, approachable and confident when working with groups of younger children. You will be organised, a good communicator and comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues.
Above all, you will be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing and will bring the energy, patience and care needed to make the After School Club a welcoming place for every child.
