St Gabriel’s RCHS are currently seeking an Attendance Officer.
This is anexciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journeyoftransition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.
We are seeking an individual who will
- manage theattendance, non-attendance and punctuality of all pupils so that it continuesto improve
- liaise withteachers, pupils and parents and maintain electronic records of attendance
- contribute toraising achievement by improving school attendance.
- provide aspecialist service to assist the school in meeting their obligations andtargets in relation to school attendance, especially persistent absence.
- promote positiveattitudes by students and families towards education and to ensure thatparents are made fully aware of their statutory responsibilities.
- be a role modelto students through appropriate personal presentation and professionalconduct.
- Support all the School’s policies and ethos.
- Establisheffective working relationships with professional colleagues both in schooland as part of the school’s learning community and network.
