Responsibilities
- Support all financial reporting including the month end process, business forecasting and budgeting.
- Perform regular business performance analysis identifying opportunities and work with the team to implement improvements.
- Challenge and support business decisions using data‑driven insights.
- Drive accountability for financial performance across business units.
- Identify risks and opportunities impacting business performance.
- Provide accurate supply and demand forecasting for the Sales team.
- Analyse product, customer, and channel profitability to identify opportunities to increase margin and revenue.
- Lead financial evaluation of new business opportunities and support with customer trade plans.
- Work with operational teams to identify and recommend actions to improve profitability while supporting growth.
- Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis to support decision making.
- Use advanced data analysis and financial modelling skills.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with post‑qualification experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a food processing or manufacturing setting.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to partner with non‑finance stakeholders and translate financial data into clear insights.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
