Responsibilities
- Support all financial reporting including the month-end process, business forecasting and budgeting.
- Conduct regular business performance analysis to identify opportunities and work with the team to implement improvements.
- Challenge and support business decisions using data-driven insights.
- Drive accountability for financial performance across business units.
- Identify risks and opportunities that impact business performance.
- Support the Sales team in providing accurate supply and demand forecasting.
- Analyse product, customer, and channel profitability to identify opportunities to increase margin and revenue.
- Lead financial evaluation of new business opportunities and support development of customer trade plans.
- Work with operational teams to recommend actions that improve profitability while supporting growth.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision making.
- Develop operational plans that drive same-store-level (LFL) sales growth and increased margins.
- Ensure delivery against weekly, monthly, and annual budgets.
- Continuously question and challenge the value delivered through commercial agreements.

- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with post-qualification experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a food-processing or manufacturing setting.
Location
This role is office based in Truro, Cornwall. There may be opportunity to work from home.
