This isn't just another Head of Poultry role. It's an opportunity to help shape the future of one of the UK's most distinctive and exciting food businesses. At St Ewe, we've spent years challenging convention, pushing boundaries and proving that eggs can be so much more than a commodity. Today, we're a multi-award-winning, family-run B Corp business supplying major retailers, foodservice partners and chefs across the UK. But we're only just getting started.

Our Purpose
We strive to crack open the power and potential of every egg.

Our 2030 Mission
To build the UK's most distinctive and trusted egg brand, known for exceptional quality, strong farming partnerships and leading the future of eggs. £150m+ sales.

We're looking for an exceptional Head of Poultry to help lead the next chapter of our journey. Not someone who simply maintains standards. Not someone who waits for problems to happen. We're looking for someone who wants to build. A leader who is passionate about poultry, thrives on developing people, builds trusted producer relationships and continuously raises the bar for welfare, performance and innovation.

You’ll lead our Poultry Team and work closely with producers, vets, technical partners and the wider leadership team to build a resilient, high-performing free-range supply network that is recognised as the very best in the industry. You’ll help ensure that as St Ewe grows, we never lose sight of what matters most—our farmers, our hens, our customers and our purpose.

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Love building high-performing teams and trusted producer partnerships
  • Are passionate about animal welfare and free-range production
  • Lead with humility, courage and authenticity
  • Enjoy using data and practical insight to drive continuous improvement
  • Believe that innovation and strong farming relationships go hand in hand
  • Want to leave a lasting legacy for British farming, not simply maintain the status quo

Success in this role looks like:

  • Building a confident, capable and engaged Poultry Team.
  • Creating trusted, long-term partnerships with our producers.
  • Driving improvements in flock welfare, health, egg quality and production performance.
  • Strengthening compliance across Lion Code, RSPCA Assured and customer standards.
  • Leading innovation, research and continuous improvement across our poultry network.
  • Helping shape a producer proposition that creates value beyond price.
  • Bringing practical poultry expertise into strategic business decisions as St Ewe continues to grow.

Our Values
Bold. Nurturing. Positive. Transparent. These aren't words on a wall. They shape every decision we make—from how we support our people and producers, to how we care for our hens, customers and communities. As a certified B Corp, we're committed to building a business that delivers for people, planet and profit.

This is your opportunity
If you're excited by the chance to shape the future of free‑range poultry, champion British farming and help build one of the UK's most loved and trusted food brands, we'd love to hear from you. You will lead the Poultry Team, strengthen producer relationships, improve systems and help build a resilient, high‑performing supply base that producers are proud to be part of.
