The Role

The Head of Foodservice Channel will be responsible for leading the foodservice eighty-part talk ... [the description continues]

What Does Success Look Like

  • Developing an overall sales strategy for the out of home channel, describing tactics, plans and to maximising profit margins
  • Developing customer sales plans with all the key customers, enhancing brand and developing our business
  • Working closely with the marketing team to develop a marketing plan that delivers sales targets and works up sales campaigns along with our key customer demands
  • During a period of intense growth, developing a strong pervasive culture of service excellence, ensuring the St Ewe Eggs brand is protected and enhanced, and the quality of the services to our customers are continually reviewed and improved
  • Developing relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
  • Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
  • Maximising new business development opportunities
  • Providing leadership to the sales team. Ensuring KPIs and budgets are exceeded
  • Ensuring an environment of team engagement, training and development is progressed and the culture of St Ewe is actively supported across the business
  • Working collaboratively with Operations, Marketing, HR, Finance, Product Development, Technical Teams and our Producers to ensure smooth relationships and responding to the needs of the business
  • Continually motivating the team whilst building capability and morale, ensuring day to day positive management with staff reviews and developing the team to their potential

Skills Required

  • Strong commercial experience with a track record of driving sales growth, business development, and profitability in the foodservice industry.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth understanding of the UK foodservice market, including trends, customer needs, and key players.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
