We are looking for a organisedCanteen Attendant(20 hours/5 days) to join the team here at St Ermin’s Hotel. The working hours will be 16:00-20:00, Monday to Friday.

As a Canteen Attendant youwill ensure to maintain the cleanliness of the canteen at all times, thisincludes floors, walls, tables, chairs, service counters, drinks machines,kitchen area, wash up area, cutlery and crockery.

What will you be doing?

  • prepare ingredients for meals, including chopping, slicing, peeling, and washing vegetables, fruits, and meats.
  • cook a variety of dishes, such as soups, stews, curries, stir-fries, and main courses, following recipes or instructions from the canteen chef.
  • ensuring compliance withsanitation, hygiene, health and safety legislation and organisational andquality requirements.
  • assist in thepreparation of beverages, both hot and cold.
  • assist in thepreparation and cooking of food.
  • assist in the qualitymanagement of food and beverages.
  • assist generally in thekitchen as directed.
  • help set an example forother kitchen team members of commitment, work ethic and habits and personalcharacter.
  • responsibly useresources and help control expenses.
  • adhere to allorganisation policies and procedures.
