Whether you're an existing colleague looking to develop your leadership skills or an external candidate ready for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As our Community Hub Lead Instructor, you'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our Community Hub, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred activities and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of those attending.

You'll provide guidance and supervision to colleagues, coordinate activities and help create a positive, inclusive and engaging environment where everyone has the opportunity to achieve their potential.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Quality and Outcomes: Monitor participation, evaluate activities and maintain accurate records of individual progress and achievements.
  • Health, Safety and Safeguarding: Promote a safe and supportive environment, ensuring appropriate risk assessments, safeguarding practices and organisational procedures are followed.
  • Working Together: Build positive relationships with colleagues, families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for those we support.

About You

We're looking for someone who is confident, approachable and passionate about supporting individuals with additional and complex needs.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, epilepsy or other complex needs.
  • The ability to lead, motivate and support colleagues.
  • Strong communication, organisational and planning skills.
  • Experience planning and delivering meaningful, person-centred activities.
  • An understanding of medication safety, safeguarding and accurate record-keeping.
  • A positive, proactive and compassionate approach.
  • A willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.

Previous leadership experience would be an advantage, but we're equally interested in individuals who demonstrate the right skills, values and potential to develop.
