We are now looking for an Assistant Head of Sixth Form to join our leadership team and play a key role in shaping the future of our Sixth Form provision.
About The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator ready to step into (or further develop within) a senior leadership role. As an outstanding classroom practitioner, you will model excellence in teaching and learning, driving consistently strong outcomes across all curriculum pathways, driving high-quality, inclusive curriculum delivery and ensuring outstanding outcomes for learners. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will remain close to practice with a 50% teaching commitment, modelling excellence in the classroom.
Working closely with the Deputy Head of Sixth Form, you will:
- Lead and develop a high-quality, ambitious, and inclusive curriculum.
- Inspire, manage, and develop a team of teachers and Learning Support Assistants.
- Drive continuous improvement through coaching, observation, and CPD.
- Contribute to quality assurance, inspection readiness, and strategic planning.
- Champion safeguarding and the wellbeing of all learners.
- Work collaboratively with families, therapists, and multi-disciplinary teams.
