Why this role is different:
Here, you'll spend less time chasing evidence and more time coaching people. At St Elizabeth's, you'll become part of one organisation rather than supporting dozens of different employers. You'll work alongside colleagues across our education, children's homes, adult residential services and supported living, helping them achieve nationally recognised vocational qualifications that directly improve the lives of the people we support.
About St Elizabeth's:

Everything we do is built around four values: Aspirational | Collaborative | Joyful | Compassionate.
As we continue to grow and invest in our workforce, we're expanding our Learning & Development team to ensure colleagues receive the highest quality vocational support and assessment.
What you'll be doing:
As a Vocational Assessor, you'll guide learners through their qualification journey, helping them build confidence, competence and professional skills. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing knowledge and competence-based qualifications through workplace observations, professional discussions and portfolio evidence.
- Providing supportive, constructive feedback that helps learners develop.
- Managing your own learner caseload and planning assessments effectively.
- Monitoring learner progress to ensure timely achievement.
- Building positive relationships with managers to support workforce development.
- Maintaining accurate assessment records and awarding body compliance.
- Supporting quality assurance activities.
- Delivering learning sessions where appropriate.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, and where you'll spend your time supporting real people in a real working environment.
