Learning Support Assistant - Teaching Assistant Location: St Elizabeths Centre, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire (Just 10 minutes from Bishops Stortford and Harlow) Contract: Term-time only (Monday to Friday, 40 weeks per year, 8:30am - 4:30pm) Salary: £23,368 - £24,342 per annum (£13.30 - £13.86 hourly) Inspire growth. We provide a specialist School, College, residential care, supported living and on-site health services. Now, were looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our warm and dedicated College team, supporting learners aged 19 25 years . About the Role Whether youre just starting your journey in education or already experienced in SEN support, this is your chance to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of children with complex learning needs. Working closely with teaching staff and therapists, youll play a key part in helping learners achieve their goals, gain confidence, and enjoy their school experience in a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment. What youll do: Support students 1:1 and in small groups with their learning, communication, and independence Assist in delivering creative, tailored lessons that meet individual needs and education plans. Promote a positive classroom environment that values diversity, respect, and emotional wellbeing. Provide personal care and administer medication when needed (with full training provided) Contribute to a team that celebrates progress and nurtures potential every single day. About You Youre someone whos calm, kind, patient and genuinely passionate about helping others succeed. You dont need formal education qualifications to apply, just the right attitude and a willingness to learn. Experience in an education or care setting is desirable but not essential. Confident communicator who can engage positively with children who have learning disabilities. Able to support with personal care when needed, always with dignity and respect.
