It’s a calm, structured, and aspirational environment where meaningful learning takes place every day. We are proud to be a values-led organisation — aspirational, collaborative, joyful, and compassionate — and we’re looking for a talented teacher who shares our commitment to helping young people live life to the full.

About the Role

This is not a conventional teaching role. This is a position where you will change lives, build deep connections, and be inspired daily by the courage and potential of your students. At St Elizabeth’s, we are looking for a Teacher who is committed to making a difference in the lives of children and young people between ages 5 – 16. With classes supporting up to 8 students, you will be able to foster a learning environment where every child feels valued, respected, and understood with the support of a wider multi-disciplinary team of Teaching Assistants, Therapists and Nurses all based on-site here at St Elizabeth’s.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan and deliver creative, adapted lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
  • Work closely with Learning Support Assistants and therapy teams to provide holistic support
  • Use a variety of communication methods, including Makaton, PECS, and AAC
  • Track, assess, and report on progress toward academic, personal, and vocational goals
  • Celebrate every achievement — no matter how big or small!

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills
  • Passion for inclusive education and holistic child development
