Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 4 at St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School. The successful candidate will work specifically with children who have behavioural needs. The post will be full-time (35 hours per week), term-time only (39 weeks a year).

The role includes:

  • Taking a lead role in managing and delivering pastoral support to students.
  • Working with groups of students under the supervision of the teacher, including the delivery of therapy, programmes of work and implementation of Individual Learning Plans.
  • Managing the supervision of students excluded from, or otherwise not working to a normal timetable.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of working with children/young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Have strong moral and ethical principles and values.
  • Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations.
  • Be open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team, and have a good sense of humour.
  • Act with the utmost integrity at all times.
