Job Overview: Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 4 at St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School. The successful candidate will work specifically with children who have behavioural needs. The post will be on a full-time (35 hours per week), term time only basis (39 weeks a year).
You will:
- Take a lead role in managing and delivering pastoral support to students.
- Work with groups of students under the supervision of the teacher, including the delivery of therapy and programmes of work and implementation of ILPs.
- Manage the supervision of students excluded from, or otherwise not working to a normal timetable.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working with children/young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Have strong moral and ethical principles and values.
- Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations.
- Be open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team and of course have a good sense of humour.
- Act with the utmost integrity at all times.
