St Edward's Oxford is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Business to join our busy Economics and Business Department. This is an exciting time to join the Economics and Business Department, as St Edward's prepares to launch Business at A-Level for the first time. As a Teacher of Business, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful introduction of the course, delivering stimulating and engaging lessons to students from across the school. Working closely with the Head of Department, you will help shape the curriculum, contribute to the development of a Business Society and create and share resources to support effective teaching and learning.
Responsibilities
- Deliver stimulating and engaging Business lessons to students across the school.
- Help shape the curriculum for the new Business A-Level course.
- Contribute to the development of a Business Society and create/share resources to support effective teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with the Head of Department and contribute to department activities and school life.
Qualifications and Experience
- Suitable for an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) or a more experienced teacher seeking leadership experience in a prestigious and successful school.
- Experience teaching the IB is advantageous but not essential.
- The successful candidate will be expected to engage fully with the life of the school.
