About the Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your culinary career? We’re looking for an aspiring Chef to join our busy Catering team at St Edward’s School. It’s an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Chef ready to take the next step in their career and develop within a professional, supportive, and high-performing kitchen. Working closely with the Head Chef and Senior Chefs, you’ll play an important role in delivering fresh, high-quality dishes for pupils, staff, and guests across daily service and a varied calendar of events, including fine dining evenings, weddings, school functions, and summer programmes. The School is open to appointing at either Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef level depending on the experience and suitability of the successful candidate. With the right attitude, ability, and passion for great food, there’s excellent scope for development and progression within our talented and supportive catering team. The salary banding for this opportunity is between £30,000 and £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
You’ll gain experience across menu planning, large-scale production, and event catering while contributing to a kitchen culture that values creativity, consistency, and teamwork.
