We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Events & Communications Assistant to support exciting events and develop engaging content for the wider school community, consisting of former pupils and parents of current pupils. You will be part of St Edward's School's small, high‑performing, friendly and ambitious fundraising team, providing support with administration, communications and event support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and support events – helping plan and run events for alumni, parents and the wider school community.
  • Manage communications – create newsletters, social media and website content aimed at alumni and parent audiences.
  • Admin tasks – respond to enquiries from community members, alumni and stakeholders.
  • Maintain data – keep records up to date for alumni, supporters and contacts in the CRM system.
  • Support the team – assist with projects that build engagement and fundraising across the school's community network.

Working Conditions

Time will be given for training and development while you are in this role. This is a fixed‑term contract for an initial period of 12 months, but it may be renewed for future terms by mutual agreement. Requirements

  • Organised, proactive, people‑oriented, keen to learn about events, communications and fundraising.
  • Educated to A‑Level standard or equivalent.
