St Edward’s is seeking a highly organised, experienced and personable administrator to play a pivotal role in welcoming families to the School and supporting pupils through every stage of their journey to enrolment. This is a busy, varied and people‑facing role, central to how the School presents itself to prospective families. Working as part of a close‑knit team within the Registrar’s Office, you will be involved throughout the year in a wide range of activities that support recruitment, events and data management. No two days are the same.

You will be a key point of contact for prospective parents and pupils, managing enquiries from first contact through to enrolment, ensuring a professional, warm and responsive experience at every stage. Alongside this, you will help plan and deliver events such as Open Days and familiarisation activities that showcase the School and its community. Full training will be provided to maintain admissions data using the iSAMS database. You will coordinate entrance assessments and prepare offer correspondence. Maintain accurate records of applications, decisions and waiting lists. Provide efficient administrative support in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

About You

  • Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator with a professional, friendly and confident manner.
  • Write clear, polished correspondence and handle telephone and face‑to‑face enquiries with calm professionalism.
  • Comfortable working with data, databases and reporting.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel and Word, including mail merge.
  • Enjoy working with people and representing the School to families and visitors.
  • Experience supporting pupil recruitment, managing application processes or coordinating customer‑facing events will be particularly valuable.

We reserve the right to conduct interviews and appoint for the role before the advertised closing date should a suitable candidate be found. Therefore, early applications are encouraged.
