This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator with excellent customer service skills to join our ambitious Admissions Department at St Edward's Oxford. Led by the Registrar, the Admissions Department handles everything from initial enquiries and events to managing communications, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the entire admissions process for all new pupils.

As Registry Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential support to the Registrar and the wider team and help manage the admissions journey for families joining our community. From the first enquiry to a pupil’s arrival at the School, you will play an important part in ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Providing administrative support to the Registrar, including diary management, correspondence, and general office coordination
  • Acting as a first point of contact for admissions enquiries
  • Ensuring that all Year 9 applications are processed, managed and fulfilled
  • Maintaining accurate admissions records using iSAMs and Excel
  • Supporting with the organisation of open events, entrance tests, interviews, and scholarships
About you

We are looking for an excellent administrator with strong communication skills, a customer service approach to your work, and a keen eye for detail. You will have proven administrative experience, outstanding organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise your work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong IT literacy, including proficiency in MS Office is essential, along with experience of using databases and mail merge.
