Overview of the PA to the Deputy Heads (Pastoral & Welfare) role at St Edward's School, Oxford. Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits. Contract: Temporary for the Autumn Term (until 5 December 2025). Hours: Full time, term time only. Required: ASAP.
The role involves providing essential secretarial and administrative support to the Deputy Heads (Pastoral and Welfare). Responsibilities include:
- Managing diaries, handling enquiries, drafting correspondence, and minuting meetings.
- Assisting with the administration and renewal of Child Student Visas, including preparing CAS statements for applications, conducting the UKVI required “Right to Study” checks for pupils on school-sponsored visas, and maintaining up-to-date records of passports and other documentation for all international pupils.
- Collaborating with school teams to ensure smooth operation of the Pastoral Office.
Requirements include:
- Previous experience in a senior secretarial or PA role.
- Professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with MS Office.
