Overview

Economics Graduate Assistant role at St Edward\’s School, Oxford. Contract: Fixed Term; Hours: Full Time; Salary: £1,800 per month plus accommodation and full board. The role will begin in September 2025 for one academic year, with the possibility that the contract will be renewed for a second year in September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and develop teaching skills, working closely with members of the Economics Department, assisting with classes, and making a significant contribution to extra-curricular activities and the super-curricular programme.
  • Receive training in skills related to teaching and transferable to other professions.

Qualifications

  • Economics graduate; interested in pursuing teaching as a career; willing to attend relevant training courses at the school’s expense.
  • We encourage Graduate Assistants to extend their experience by attending relevant training courses, at the school’s expense.
  • Desire to contribute to the academic, boarding and co-curricular life of St Edward\’s.

Salary: £1,800 per month plus accommodation and full board.
