An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Italian Tutor to join our Modern Foreign Languages Department. This position is ideally suited to a fluent Italian speaker who is passionate about language education and committed to supporting pupils preparing for their oral examinations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting engaging speaking classes with individuals or small groups of pupils.
  • Assessing pupil progress and tailoring support to individual learning needs.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant oral examination requirements and creating appropriate lesson resources.

Applicants should hold an honours degree in Italian and possess excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and previous experience in an administrative or educational setting are also required.

The school operates a two-week timetable cycle and there is a requirement for 12 Italian conversation lessons to be delivered each cycle, and as such, a flexible approach to working hours is required.
