St Edwards is seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Operative to work as part of the Estates Department. You will carry out a wide range of routine and planned maintenance tasks across school buildings, boarding houses, staff accommodation and outdoor areas. This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You might be carrying out basic carpentry, general building repairs, decorating touch-ups, minor plumbing tasks, assembling furniture, supporting compliance checks or helping maintain pathways, fencing and other site infrastructure.
We are looking for someone with practical maintenance experience or training in carpentry, general building or decorating. You will be a reliable team player with a flexible approach, good attention to detail and the confidence to work independently when needed. The working pattern for this role is Tuesday to Saturday 8am to 4.30pm.
