The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 Β£ per hour.

Approximately 26 hours per week - Term-time only plus 4 weeks. St Edmund's College is seeking an experienced and proactive Data Manager to lead the effective management of the College's academic Management Information System (iSAMS). This is a key role supporting academic reporting, data analysis, and statutory returns, working closely with senior leaders and teaching staff.

Responsibilities

  • You will manage and develop the College's academic data systems, including iSAMS annual rollover, reporting cycles, census returns, and examination analysis.
  • You will work collaboratively with Admissions, IT, and academic staff to ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful data that supports teaching, learning, and decision-making.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

  • Experience working as a Data Manager, ideally within a school environment.
  • At least two years' experience using a school MIS (preferably iSAMS).
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data and reports.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems (SQL/SSRS knowledge desirable).
  • Ability to communicate data clearly to non-technical colleagues.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • A supportive team player with a genuine interest in education.

Safeguarding

Whilst not in a teaching role, as a Data Manager you will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role which gives opportunity for contact with children. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes children's barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility. As with all College staff members, you will therefore be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.
