  • We require an outstanding teacher of English. This role would suit a UQT with a passion and understanding of how to inculcate pupils in both a love of reading and the skills to write in a wide variety of registers.

    The successful candidate will teach students across the ability and age range and join our experienced team in this well-resourced department. The successful candidate will welcome the many opportunities to contribute to the lively co-curricular life of the College, which is situated in rural East Hertfordshire.

    St Edmunds is England's oldest Catholic school offering an all-round co-education for students from 3 to 18 and for families from all faiths.

    The post will involve close contact with, and a high degree of responsibility for, children and young adults. The majority of this will be regulated activity and as such an enhanced DBS check (which includes children's barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment.
