St Edmund's College is hiring and looking for a reliable Casual Cleaner to help keep our study bedrooms, offices, and communal areas clean and well-maintained. You will work as part of a small but efficient team to ensure both rooms and public areas are cleaned and kept well presented.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekly cleaning of allocated study bedrooms and offices.
- Daily cleaning of communal spaces including kitchens, corridors, stairs, bathrooms, and toilets.
- Cleaning public rooms and removing rubbish/recycling.
- Assisting with spring cleaning at the end of term.
- Making and changing beds during conference periods, including occasional weekend work.
- Reporting untidy or inappropriate behaviour, linen shortages, maintenance issues, or security concerns.
- Covering additional rooms during staff holiday or sickness.
About You
No previous cleaning experience is required—just a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
The successful candidate
Whilst cleaning experience is advantageous, the successful candidate doesn’t need any cleaning experience just a can-do attitude and a desire to learn.
