St Edmunds Catholic Primary School are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Teacher to join our happy and successful school, to teach in Key Stage One. We are looking to appoint a teacher who is ready and able to support the catholic nature of our school. We can offer you a host of fantastic experiences and opportunities, as well as access to an extensive training programme. This post offers the opportunity to join a very supportive staff team.
Your experience, qualities and skills should include:
- Excellent classroom practice with high expectations, strong behaviour management and the determination to see expectations met
- A knowledge of the Key Stage One curriculum
- Commitment to continually seek improvement and raise standards
- Understanding of high-quality teaching and learning strategies in Key Stage One
- Experience in leading and having subject responsibility for the whole school would be desirable
- A developed understanding of early phonics, preferably with knowledge of The Little Wandle scheme of work
- Work with outside agencies including SEN specialists, students and parent volunteers
- Experience of safeguarding requirements
