We are seeking friendly, reliable and customer-focused Casual Reception Staff to join our team at the Tamesis Guest House and William R Miller Building in Oxford during the summer vacation period. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will provide a warm welcome, assist with check-ins and check-outs, answer enquiries, manage reservations, undertake general reception and administrative duties, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our accommodation facilities.

This is a varied, guest-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, a professional approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a customer service, reception or hospitality environment would be advantageous.

Period of Engagement: 4 July 2026 to 27 September 2026

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday: 12:00 to 20:00
  • Saturday and Sunday: 09:00 to 20:00

Shifts will be allocated on a rota basis across a team of casual workers. Flexibility is essential, and additional shifts may occasionally be available at the College’s other Reception areas/ Lodges.
